1. An Introduction to Sue Hunter, who was an active member of the breast cancer list for nearly four years until her death in May, 1999. This introduction, and the accompanying picture, were provided by her friend, Musa Mayer. Arguably the most original and witty writer this list has ever seen, we are providing a collection of her writings in the Sue Hunter Memorial Reading Room. You will be able to read Sue's thoughts about the list and its members, on breast cancer and community, on life and love. Puffie speaks, the complete BreastBeaters, Nancy Drew, contests, poetry and much more are available.
2. The BreastBeater, an index to access all 31 of the issues.
3. St. Louis Views, the booklet distributed in Miami, in web form.
4. Puffie, the infamous fish, is featured on Ginette Eldridge's memorable birthday website.
1. Jon Church's Administrivia for the BC List, including how to go No Mail, Sign Off, and other useful commands. Actually, since Jon is our list owner (long may he wave), I suppose this may be considered an official document. It is the only one.
2. BC List Abbreviations, the January 1999 version posted by John Bonine.
3. The Goose Story, the story that inspired the List T-shirts.
4. Book List, a list of books compiled by Bob Riter, based on suggestions from List members. If you have any suggestions for additional books, which you found useful, email the Head Librarian, aka francine at pinkmutant.com, and get your favorites added to the list.
5. BC List Survey Results, is a PDF file, with lots of neat bar charts, summarizing the results of a survey of list members about their participation in the BC List. Musa Mayer and Jon Church presented the information at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in December 2001, and made a chart of their findings. The link downloads a PDF version of this chart.
6. BC List Flier, is a PDF file of a brochure about the BC List, in regular size, which you can print and distribute where it will do the most good. There is also a version in A4 size, click HERE to download it. Musa Mayer made the brochure, with a little help from Gaelyne Gasson on the A4 version. Click HERE to view in your browser.
